Power Street

A modern Belgian farmhouse by the sea, this Hermosa Beach home was created for a family of four who wanted a quiet place for their young children to grow up. Built from the ground up between 2020 and 2023, the design draws on natural materials and the ease of California living, with tumbled limestone floors and softly plastered walls that bring a sense of quiet luxury. Every surface was thoughtfully finished through millwork, wallpaper, tile, or stone to create a layered and tactile interior. The main living spaces open to the outdoors with sliding doors that connect the home to a backyard designed for gathering, complete with an outdoor kitchen, pool with waterslide, firepit, in-ground trampoline, casita, and terraced parkette. A hidden playroom with a custom slide adds a playful touch that reflects the rhythm of daily life for this young family.
